let me tell you about my day yesterday.
it was an ordinary day, where i was supposed to wake up to play badminton in the afternoon, and then go attend a friend's 21st birthday party in the evening.
i woke up grouchily at 1030am, went out, ate lunch, and then started playing badminton at 3pm. and then, at 330pm, something unexpected (a.k.a. accident) happened.
i dislocated my shoulder.
how it happened, i still have no idea. but i attempted to find a chinese physician, and then a doctor, before ending up at a hospital. after being given an injection in the buttocks for pain (which didn't seem to help), i had x-rays to determine the damage. then i was sedated and the dislocated bone put back into place. and when i woke up from my slumber, i was alright again.
discharged with painkillers and a follow-up appointment, i am now fine. just that i have to be extremely careful, since a dislocated shoulder has a high tendency of happening again.
i'm feeling ok, just some slight numbness in my right arm. so all of you don't have to sms or call to ask about me, i'm ok! =)
the nurse said i wasn't to make any important decisions due to the sedation, but i had already made one by the time i was discharged.
